Pay Respects at the Poignant 9/11 Memorial & Museum

Built at the site of Ground Zero at the World Trade Center, this permanent memorial commemorates the events and honors the 2,983 victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and 1993 World Trade Center. The 9/11 Memorial is free and open to the public, featuring the names of those killed in the attacks, and a reflecting pool with two waterfalls where the Twin Towers stood.

The 9/11 Museum recounts the events of those fateful days through permanent core exhibitions and seasonal exhibits that examine the ongoing effects of the attacks. Browse the 110,000 square feet of the museum on your own, or take a guided one-hour tour with an expert. Allow yourself at least two hours to experience the museum, which is a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
